Dental schools want a C or better in pre-reqs so yes, I think your friends need to retake them.

He is doing well in upper div bios though so don't worry so much. He just needs to retake them because it's required.
 
honestly, I think he should start standing on his own 2 feet and join SDN himself, and not make you type out all his transcript and ask his questions....unless he is really you 😉
 
Most schools will not accept a mark lower than a C. So he'll need to retake the courses with grades below that.
 
id say with these grades he doesn't have a good shot. his GPA has got to be lower than 3, and we all know what that means. He/you would have to retake some of those classes.
