On Monday, my Psychology teacher was teaching us about different types of professionals that deal with Psychology. Her list was something like:

MDs
Psychotherapists
MFTs
Social Workers
...

So I went to her after class and asked her why she did not mention Osteopathic physicians. She apologized and said she forgot and has worked with DO's before. So today she explained to the 75 or so students the philosophy of Osteopathy. It was kinda cool to have these people learn about the profession!

Way to go! Keep in mind those 75 people will, by word of mouth, spread what they have learned like a disease.

Good for you!

Actually, statistic-wise, 10% of the public knows about DOs already so 7.5 of the 75 people knew about DOs. Hence, 67.5 found out about osteopathy in that situation.

Werd up Einstein. :meanie: :horns:

I feel bad for the .5 person 🙁 must be a terrible life. Is he/she .5 vertically or .5 horizontally?

My Psychology book also did the same thing. They claim a doctor to be one who specifically earns a MD degree. I guess they must have forgotten too.

Weird..... 😕
Weirder both for the cheese inference and also for responding twice in this thread to that same comment.
