Anyone get an invite from Michigan this week? Looking on predents it seems like they've gotten to our date. Got the application complete date email 9/8 and still nothing

That's my dream school though and I dunno what I'd do if I didn't get in.

So I was resetting my password for a website, and in checking my spam folder for the email I found an interview invite from UNLV on October 5th. I don't know how this happened as the rest of the emails I got from them went to my normal inbox, but at least I found it when I did

I guess for all of you using your school emails to get updates/interviews make sure to check your spam box as well. I'm going to call tomorrow but if anyone that received an interview then wants to room with me/drink and gamble post interview I'm down👍

I haven't. (Aug 12th mailing date; no research; 3.4 & 22)

Take this with a grain of salt, but I've heard that if your application comes in after the 50% of total eventual applicants mark, you are usually in trouble. Last cycle, that point was reached around the first week of August.

I was wondering if it is normal in the app process to gain interviews to several schools, but not even here back from many besides for the app complete emails. I haven't even received an app complete email from columbia, and when I call no on is in the office.... which I thought was weird. I know I should be satisfied with the interviews I received and I am, but how come no news from 7 schools out of 13. Especially schools that were safety ones. How are all your apps going are any interviews coming in still, or has it died down till after december.... where I heard it picks up again?

I feel like some of your safety schools don't want to interview you because they know you will just reject them down the line. With a 4.0 and a 21, you play by slightly different rules.

They probably know this, and want to get more likely candidates in the door right now.


Btw, why 13 schools?
