8 schools enough?

I'll keep it short and simple:

NYU, Columbia, Stonybrook, Penn, BU, Tufts, Temple, UMDNJ. I'm worried that I'm applying to too little. What's your take? Ideally I'd like to go to NYU/Columbia.

I've hit the bottom before. My freshman year I had a cumulative GPA of 3.0 sooo... it took a long time to bring that up. I'll be a senior in college next year.

I think you should add 2-3 more schools, just incase cause some schools will screen you out cause of the RC score, but ur all ur other stats are great. Add Maryland and Pitt.

This. Add Buffalo, Maryland and Pitt, which are all good schools.

I honestly wouldn't call those average GPAs, unless you mean average in accepted classes rather than for all applicants.

I think you're good to go, good spectrum of schools. I've applied to 8 myself, though mine span the continent.
