I'm just looking for some advice from some people who have used or are using bootcamp. Ive been receiving 20s and one 19 in the 5 weeks Ive had to practice the PAT tests (6-10) on bootcamp. I cant seem to improve any higher even though I keep practicing the harder stuff for me everyday. Any advice?

Completely misread this, for some reason I thought it was about Bio. Sorry. I think you're doing really well, my average was around a 19, and I scored a 22. I think the hardest thing for me was getting my timing down, I spent too much time on the last three sections, and couldn't put as much time in for the first two. Be sure you can at least attempt every problem when doing these tests, and you should be good!

What sections are giving you the most trouble? Are you using the generators every day?

Ya the timing is one of the hardest things, I think when Im using too much time on one question I just take an educated guess and move on.

Mostly angles and TFE. I use the generators for angles and can get about 11/15 right most of the time, but for some reason on these tests I keep getting like 6-8/15. I try going through some TFE questions as well everyday, and the biggest problem for me is answering them fast enough. Maybe its because I do TFE last I literally run out of time on perhaps the last 4ish questions.

I think rather than guessing, just mark it and move on, or do both, mark and guess. That way you'll have an answer down still incase you can't come back to it. On the real thing I sort of zoned out for a sec (you do get mentally drained after SNS), and lost count when I was doing cube, so be sure to stay focused!!! This is really important in QR too! Best of luck 🙂

I think some people have said that the tests tend to be harder than the generators. I think you're scoring perfectly well for angles! BC will prepare you well. As for TFE, have you tried a different order of attempting? Are you doing the ones you're best at first? That way you leave the max amount of time for the sections you struggle with the most.

Ive mostly went in order except skipping TFE for last, but maybe now Ill save Pattern folding for last. It seems like a section I can probably do faster. Thanks!!

I think you're scoring just fine, just make sure you don't stop practicing and reviewing. However, if you want to find your weak/slow points, something that helped me was doing 15 of each type of PA question on the generators (trying to simulate exam style) and timing each of those. For example, do 15 keyholes, stop the timer and write it down. Do 15 TFE, stop the timer and write it down. Etc. In the end, my experience has been that I'd have 2-7 minutes "left" based on total time. However, the goal is really to see where you're getting hung up and how much time you're spending per type of question. It really helped me, hope it helps you.
