96 Composite, but Third Try - How Does this Look?

Just curious as to what people here think. The first time I took it when I only had moderate interest in Pharmacy and took it mostly to see how well I could do. I actually studied for the second one a lot and took it more seriously, then I put even more effort into the third time and got a pretty sweet score. But how do you think some colleges will view this?

The main Pharm Interviewer/one of the head of the Pharmacy dept at my current university advised me that I should take the it third time in the first place, so I'm guessing it will look fine if I just apply there again, but what about other places? Will the impressive nature of the 96 composite be overlooked a bit because of my frequency in taking the test? Thanks for any and all feedback.

No, it shouldn't matter at all. A 96 composite is an excellent score, regardless of the # of attempts. Spend some time browsing this forum and you'll see that people are getting accepted with sub-50 composite PCAT scores (yes, really). How's your GPA?

My overall GPA dropped quite a bit from my loaded schedule last semester. It's a 3.40, but my Pharm GPA is still a 3.45.

I had no clue about the sub-50 thing, but I'm assuming they had to have a straight 4.00 for that to happen. Last year my university's average was a 79 PCAT and 3.44 GPA, so hopefully all works out and I nail the interview.

If I were adcom I would say it looks like you work hard to achieve greatness so tbh I don't think it will be a problem. Congrats on the 96!

Thanks a lot! I found it pretty surprising. I found it much easier than before but didn't expect to do that well.
