Chill. You're fine. These are NOT negative trends, nor did you have a bad semester. My GPA before this semester was 3.736 and I have completed 77 credits. This semester I took General Chemistry II (3 credits) with lab (1 credit), Anatomy and Physiology II (4 credits) along with a 200 level biology class (General Physiology, 4 credits) and Developmental Psychology (4 credits).
I had open heart surgery a month before the semester started, and I believe recovery has affected my ability to perform well this semester.
I got a B in Chemistry lecture and a B+ in Anatomy and Physiology. In part 1 for both of these topics, I received an A- and an A respectively. I am worried about these negative trends, especially since some of the courses are medical school prerequisites. Am I right to be worried? How should I go about fixing this?
If it helps, I have 125 hours shadowing experience, and 250 hours research experience. I am also an officer of a campus club and I have about 100 volunteer hours.
