woun't you get better answers by just calling the financial aid office of the school your going to?

fair enough...

I wish some moderator can change this thread to be put in the dental forums. We'd get better answers from dental students who have been already accepted and attending DS

...I would say you definitely need to be in contact with your financial aid person - at Penn, we have a student affairs office specifically for the dental school that helps us through all this paperwork. The FAFSA is generally just the first step.

dental school is as it has been said and not sure what response you are looking for. first two years will be very difficult and you will be wishing that you had free time to take it easy and relax.

But i would recommend work and save up as much as you can before entering. you get an allowence to live off of, which seems like alot at first. but it can get tight toward the end of a quarter. so i would get a jo and work as much as you can.

But stop a few weeks shy of dental school starting and just relax and take a break. as once it starts your pretty much on go for four years and then your a dentist and have to work.

so id say work and then relax and prepare to go!

Save up some cash. The school may post a financial aid timeline. Find a place to live unless you have one.
