a dilemma: what to do?

my step 1 score was 207, so i really want to have a good score for step 2 and i want the residency programs to see that. i'm scheduled to take the test on oct. 9th which means my step 2 score would come out on nov. 2nd (the day after my dean's letter goes out). my question is if it would be logical to take another week to study a little more - so if i take the test on oct. 18th, my application won't be complete till 2nd week of november. is this a bad idea?

i'm applying for internal medicine and so far i've received interviews from 3 places (2 community and 1 university program).

it might be a silly question...but i would very much appreciate some your opinion.

I think it probably depends on how you're doing on practice exams or Uworld. If you're killing it, there's probably no reason to postpone. If you're getting killed, it may be worth waiting and spending more time on high-yield topics.

If you can improve by studying another week, push it back.
If not, just take it.
