A dramatic decrease in AAMC 8: Anyone else experience this?

Hey everybody, I took aamc 8 and suffered an enormous decrease in my composite 🙁

AAMC 5 before content: 9 PS, 8 VR, 11 BS

4: 11, 12, 12
7: 11, 11, 13
8: 10, 8, 10

I'm kinda shocked by this enormously low score and hoping to rebound asap. I felt the PS and VR were slightly harder but I didn't expect a 7 pt decrease. If you experienced this, did you just write it off as a crappy day? I didn't start my day out right, crappy sleep and low appetite, but thats it.

From what I remember, AAMC 8 had a tough verbal section (I also got an 8) and some random out of nowhere discrete/discrete like questions in PS and BS.

I think it was my focus on choosing the answers that were associated with the passage instead of external information. Which is kinda the opposite of what people said here unfortunately.

I experienced a drop of 1 point each on my PS/BS. The PS definitely felt a little harder. Not sure what happened in BS.

i took a 3 point dive from 7 to 8, then up 4 to 9 lol .

I just took 8 today and damn, that was hard. The verbal had some complicated passages and the PS/BS was harder. It was harder and my score did go down a couple of points :/

I ended up doing the same as the previous AAMCs but there was a definite increase in difficulty from 7 to 8. The BS and PS were much more difficult. The previous ones I most questions didn't require much reading into the passages but 8 did.
