A few basic questions regarding application

Hello,
I am currently attending a Canadian school.
I am in my 4th year, but I am taking 3rd year chemistry courses.
This is because I switched major in my second year.
I took the Canadian DAT this November, but will not know my scores until December.
I only applied to UBC 😱(this is the school I go to).
I did not even think of applying to US schools since I was told that all american schools required one to have bachelor.
But, someone just told me this is not true.
Am I too late to apply to US schools?

Don't need a bachelors to get into dental school in the US. I applied with only 88 college credits under my belt and have had a couple of interviews. You are most defenatly not too late to apply (technicaly), although you kind of are (realisticly). If your stats are super duper then you've got nothing to lose applying (exept a bunch of hard earned dough).

They will offer seats on Nov 30th. By the time you fill out your AADSAS application and the schools receive everything they need from you and the schools receive it and review it and make a decision, it may be late, it's kind of hard to say. I think the whole app start to schools receive process took a couple months. I know guys that have applied this late and gotten in so it's possible but you will be at a disadvantage as most schools by the time they receive your app will have already extended offers for most of their seats for the fall.

wow jayjaejai, you have to be the first person i've seen on SDN that goes to UBC. I do too, and I'm in fourth year no less. its so bloody aggravating is it waiting around for your DAT scores eh....PS another forum for Canadian predents can be found on premed101.com....click forums and then click the link that says the forums have moved.
