I was going through a set of online quizzes and came across the following questions I could use help with:

First question: the correct answer is apparently that plants store sugars in the form of cellulose in their roots. Is this correct? I've never seen it mentioned elsewhere before and I thought that plants primarily store sugars in the form of starch.

Second question: molecule that stores the information about the order of amino acids in a protein is apparently DNA, not RNA. While I understand the logic for DNA being the right answer, isn't RNA as well, since it more immediately stores the information about the order of amino acids? Especially when you consider that the DNA doesn't necessarily code for the order once you account for things like splicing?

Third question: I know that in some cases protein can be renatured with the removal of the denaturing agent, but the quiz animation preceding this directly says "Denaturation and coagulation of proteins is a complex, irreversible process", so why did they mark the correct answer as false?

Pretty sure the first question would be starch, cellulose is more of a structural thing.
Second question, is DNA because it is the one storing information. Although RNA is the precursor of protein, the main one that stores the information is DNA.
The last question, we know that chaperone can restore it's function and normal shape.

All things store their genetic information in the form of DNA, EXCEPT for some viruses (Type III, typeIV, type VI , retro and para-retro viruses). One of the method that our innate immune system recognize and kill some viruses is through the recognition of double stranded RNA. dsRNA induce DICER and RISC activity.

Sorry about going off topic. I'm taking virology lol and I swear there's like a bunch of questions in destroyer are straight up virology.

I just read over the "Plants" Chapter in Cliff's AP Bio for the second time and here's a quote straight from the book:

"The cortex makes up the bulk of the root. Its main function is the storage of starch. The cortex often contains numeral intercellular spaces..."

So I think it's safe to assume that #21 is wrong.

Based on the layout of the page, I'm going to guess that you are using Prescott/McGraw-Hill's ARIS website to review?
