1) I received my MCAT admission ticket that is to be presented at the test center the day of the exam. The identification card requires a 2" x 2" photograph. A lot of medical colleges also require applicants to submit the the same size photograph. Do you think it would be okay if I attach and send photographs that are 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" or are they very strict about the size?

2) Is there a deadline for the AMCAS application? I know there is a deadline for early decision, but what about regular admission? I'm taking it kind of easy because my application won't be completed anyway until my MCAT scores are in so I'm taking my time in filling it out. Actually I'm having difficulty with the personal statement. If anyone is willing to help me with that, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

1) I don't know. I had larger photographs that I just trimmed.

2) I think the deadline is October 15. Taking your time is probably ok, the way apps are going this year. In fact, you're right about schools not going to review your app until your scores are in so there's really no rush. But I would submit a few days before the 15th, just in case, you know.
