I was recently accepted to AZCOM; however, I still have other DO interviews lined up. I'd like to waste as little money as possible and therefore don't want to go to some of these interviews if AZCOM is a better choice. On the other hand, I don't want to miss out on something great! Any advice from current students or applicants who have interviewed at these schools would be greatly appreciated! The other schools I have left are KCOM, DMU, LECOM, and TUCOM-Nevada.

Research and soul search.

Figure out what's important to you in a school: Location, cost, faculty, schedule, rotations, average board scores, residency placement, etc.

Find out what you can, if any of these factors put AZ state for sure ahead of another school, cross it off the list.

At some point, you're probably looking at a pretty steep deposit to hold your seat for AZ state. I couldn't come up with 3 or 4 deposits of 1,000$+. I called the rest of the DO interviews off after the 1st acceptance in large part because I couldn't come up with a 2nd deposit. But, if it hadn't been in line of what I was looking for, I would have really tried to find a way to come up with it.

if you can schedule KCOM and DMU a day apart they are only 3 hours away from each other, so you could save some by driving between them. also DMU was awesome! search for aacomas CIB on google, and on SDN "pros and cons of your DO school"

Wow, I didn't realize that DMU and KCOM were so close. I never google mapped it. haha. I actually already have them scheduled back-to-back on 10/28 and 10/29. The whole 2 for 1 is a great idea! especially if i can find student hosts at both locations! Thanks for the help!
