Hi

As you all know, there has been a lot of rain causing a lot loss of life, property etc. It is really a very sad incident.

I am reading reports about how the politicians,Govt,BMC are being severely criticized for their inefficiency. I agree the state-run machinery is not exactly great. In Maharashtra particularly,it has degraded a lot in the last few years.

But I am interested in knowing what the common intends to do about it.

I am going to tell my friend who is in Bombay to give 1 packet of Chlorine tabs away everyday for the next week.

Just wondering if all of you are thinking of doing anything?

Not me ....coz I can`t trust anyone when it comes to , like pass' this thing ' on to the needy . I`ve never "seen" anyone doinga charity work honestly

I agree with you. That is why I am telling some one I know to give it directly to the people on the roads. The ones who sleep on the road.

i volunteered on a rescue mission.... it was a great experience indeed! Now the biggest scare in mumbai is leptospirosis and gastroenteritis. today we had seminar on how to educate people about these diseases.

Its not related to flodd but i donated blood today as hospital is facing acute shortage of blood!!!!
