I was just being a overly concerned kid a couple minutes ago and I read over the recommended academic plan for my desired major, toxicology. I don't know if all science majors are like this, but according to this chart, first semester students are "recommended" to take: Biology; basic concepts and biodiversity, chemical principles I, experimental chemistry I, calculus I w/ analytical geo and a general education requirement. I don't about you guys, but this seems really difficult. Just the thought of it makes me cringe. What do you guys think?

Seems normal for a science major.

2 Basic Core Sciences (Usually Bio and Physics or Bio and Chem)
1 Math Class (Usually calculus so you can take upper level science classes that require calc next year)
1-2 Distribution/Diversity Classes
1 Elective

His schedule shows 3 sciences classes, 1 math, and one distributive. Which of those classes have a lab component?

Maybe it is just me, but yeah that seems a little tough.. I mean, you are going to be doing this during your first semester while you are just getting used to college. I'd say it's doable, but hard for someone to take on. (From what it looks like, that's about 18 credits, which is hard for anyone while juggling EC's, let alone a freshman) just my opinion.
