Is it possible for someone or something to help me try and convert my A Level prediction of ABB into a US GPA? So that I can compare myself to a US student.

I can't see how any meaningful conversion could be achieved, the 2 educational systems are so different at high school level. Try googling 'high school gpa calculator' to see how it is calculated and how little correspondence there is with anything familiar from A-levels.

If you have A levels you DON'T compare to a normal US student. A Level work is like 1st and second year college work in some US colleges. I breezed through college freshman year with my O level work and dang near fell asleep in the class I had A levels in!

Try these links. These folks might be able to help.

I think your right, when I looked at some of the discussions in the value md forum a lot of it was 2nd year a level stuff.

I never thought UK was ahead of America, I always thought we had a rubbish education system. But then again America apparently has better post grads.
