I think its key to have songs that you can listen to so as to stay on track and not be let down...let's make a list. I'll start with a few:

Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
'Till I Collapse - Eminem (The intro is good)
Battery - Metallica
Lose Yourself - Eminem

"Can't Hold Us Down" by Christina Aguilera

"Since You Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson (in honor of all the things we've given up studying for this stupid test - "thanks to you, now I get what I want..."

Anything by Rage Against the Machine.

You Learn--Alanis
I Will Survive--Gloria Gaynor
Higher Ground--Red Hot Chili Peppers
The whole soundtrack from Run Lola Run
Just a Ride--Jem

And since someone beat me to Eye of the Tiger, I'd also recommend Montage from the Team America soundtrack.

Behind blue eyes - Limp Bizkit

All kinds of time - Fountains of Wayne

Sick and tired - Anastacia

Hateful - Original is The Clash, but No Doubt's version is awesome

I'm not okay - My Chemical Romance

Novacaine - Green Day

E-Pro - Beck

I agree Ravin, Eminem's "Lose Yourself" and "Till I Collapse" were def motivational songs for me while studying for the MCAT!

Good luck guys, keep your heads up and keep grinding it out. Relax every once in awhile. If you really want it, it'll be yours :luck:

I agree with Encore and Let's Go. I haven't heard New York, though.

Aerosmith - Dream on
GNR - Paradise City
Knocking on heavens door
Metallica - Fuel, Turn the Page, Unforgiven II
Eminem - Til i collapse
Dido - Here with me, and Thank you
Eye of the Tiger
Christina was mentioned i saw...

To get you in a good mood, listen to Ray CHarles, genius loves company is good.

Led Zepplin - Stairway to heaven (long version and the last 45 sec where it jams will get you moving)

Tupac - my girlfriend

...i have a twisted broad sense of music appreciation from just about every genre.

I'm a country junkie:

I Hope You Dance - Leanne Wommack
How do you Like me now - Toby Keith

"I hope you dance" kept me in college when I was getting ready to throw in the towel.

I have to agree with the previous poster, although I much prefer Dookie when I am studying. Otherwise some cool songs that I enjoy (a little bit slower and mellow, I can't stand feeling like I'm in a club when I'm studying)

AFI - The Leaving Song
Something Corporate - Konstantine
A Perfect Circle - Three Libras
Juliana Theory - We're At the Top of the World

Check em out, guaranteed you won't be dissapointed.
