What would be the RNA sequence transcribed from the DNA template strand shown below? Assume all of the nucleotides are transcribed according to Watson-Crick base pairing.

DNA Template Strand

3'--AGTCGCTA--5'

can someone please explain?

i got this from DAT q. vault, but i dont agree with their answer. can someone please explain?

Answer should be...

5'--UCAGCGAU--3'

For RNA, replace T with U, and just Watson-crick base pair the rest.
A-T (DNA) or A-U (RNA)
and C-G.
