Hey all:
Happy New year to everyone!
I interviewed at NSU on 12/9 and at LECOM-B (which i was accepted to). However, my heart is for NSU. Yet, i am very disappointed with their office of admissions. First, I called to reschedule an interview and they told me yea come this day. When i get there that morning, the lady tells me that I wasn't supposed to go that day but the month after. Apparently, the person who i spoke to forgot to make the change or something i don't know. The issue was cleared that same day and the interview went beautifully.
The week after that my file was supposed to go to committee for a decision on december 14th.My last letter of recommendation was there since december 9th, but the person who inputs the stuff in the computer forgot to print it out and place it in my file. So now my file has been postponed for review until january 11th. And this is despite the fact that I called their office 5 times after i interviewed and left messages to make sure that the letter was placed in the file.
So my advice to everyone is: CALL THE SCHOOLS YOU ARE APPLYING TO, make sure they have your complete file put together so that your decision is not delayed.
I cannot wait until next week for a decision, since NSU is my #1 choice!
