Hello guys,
I'm currently a freshman at the Univ. of Utah and my major is Biology - premed tracking,
I'm so confused about adding classes... I DON'T know which classes to take, one of my friends recommended this schedule for me

Biol - biology in the 21st century w/ lab if available = 5crdts
Chem - 102 or 111 /w lab if available = 5crdts

can anyone recommend me an easy schedule to achieve a solid 4 GPA please?

Thanks guys, loved your forum!

Such a general question, please talk to people that go to your school... Or an adviser. I doubt any of us know what an easy schedule consists of at the University of Utah

Check with your school adviser. In general, you have to take the introductory courses required for biology and chemistry majors, that is the lower Bio and Chem classes required for students to continue and take upper level classes at their respective departments.

Err... well I would replace "biology in the 21st century" with General Biology, or whatever it's called in U of Utah.

Because "Biology in the 21st Century" sounds like a class that explores a very small subset of the field, namely the future of it, and that really doesn't sound like you'll learn the basics, you know like Pasteur, evolution, cells, molecules, organelles, fungi vs plants, blah blah blah.

But I would still talk to your advisor in order to clarify this.

Based upon your posts thus far I think you're a troll. But anyways, you'd choose General Biology over some random bio class since it is a pre-req to get into medical school.

lol and this.

Not trolling or anything... just seeking knowledge dude... anyways thanks for the advice.
