If x is an integer greater than zero and y is an integer less than zero, then xy could be in the form of:

a)x^2
b)y^2
c)x-y
d)x
e)y
 
I think it's e.

xy = give you a negative number. so the answer has to be negative.

if x = 1, then it would be same as just y alone.

All other choices gives you a positive value.
