Hi. I haven't reviewed the DAT material yet. Do you guys think a month will be enough. I have strong science background..i am worried about PAT. When is the last "good" day to submit application? THanks

Gator

I just PMed you.

Gator,

A month? Hell No!... I take it back.. A month without sleep: completely do-able especially with the stong science background.

It's probably doable in 1 month I think if one just finished Orgo in the Spring semester and it is still fresh in their heads..

Back when I was applying to dental school a loooong long time ago I had 3 months to study for the DAT (took it in September so I had a whole summer after junior year of college to study). Guess my strategy worked.. 😀

I think a month is a doable amount of time. I studied for a little less than a month and did just fine.

If you are studying for 8 hours a day, then that is ~160 hours of studying in a month, which is quite a lot!

In all honesty, the DAT just isn't very hard. I think that many of you will be surprised at how easy it is once you take it.
