I was looking on FREIDA at the different programs for gas. Some of the programs are categorical 4 years and some are 3 years after one year of some graduate medical education. For those 3 year programs do you have to apply to a medicine prelim and the advance program at the same time? Where are those prelim programs listed? And if so does the match try to put you to both programs in the same location? Thanks.

Yes, you have to apply separately for a prelim with advanced (3 year) programs. For each anesthesia program you rank, you can attach to it a separate prelim rank list.
