TonyPowerful...I'm not studying med in Europe but can't help to take at your topic.

I can't agree with you more. Most of the time I wonder why I am studying this for. I probably still have a minimum 10+ years to go and after that, I'll still expected to work 24 hours a day!

I totally agree with you. We have the most messed up minds with the world.
Med students are probably a bit like addicts - you know it's no good for you but somehow at the end of the day, you still want to do it!
 
Yeah that may be true, but the rewards are ample. a secure job and a good salary. imagine being downsized when you're 50. that at least wouldn't happen in medicince where you can be your own boss
