For those of you with sweet advising skills,... I'm transferring to a university that has a quarter system. For my first quarter, I'm thinking about having two science classes and one non-science class to ease off a bit for the first quarter. I'm looking at about 12 quarter units for my first quarter. I am done with my general education.

First of all, what would be a good non science class to take with my two other ones? What would dental schools like to see?

Second, should I take more than 12 quarter units? I understand that quarter and semester units are different. I took 14 semester units at community college with a job, and 17 semester units without a job.

Thanks! Anything helps!

A dental student recommended Medical Terminology, but I think classes art or sculpture are good non-sciences to show manual dexterity.

i vote public speaking, a psychology class, or a sociology class to show your 'people' skills

Psychology, Medical Ethics, Ethics, Medical Philosophy

I would say a business class. It would help you when you're running your own practice one day.
