Can I apply to med school before finishing all my prereq's? I plan on applying in the summer and I'll finish my prereq's in the fall or winter at the latest. Sorry to post such a basic question. I couldn't find a straight answer to this by using the search function.

yes, of course.
 
Yes, but all prereq's must be fulfilled before matriculation. That's usually ok, especially if it's just one and especially especially if it's non-science req.

There are some schools that require you to have the prerequisites completed at a specified date during the application cycle. I believe Cornell wants all prerequisite coursework completed by January of the year of admission. There might be a few other schools with this exception.
