Click to expand... This has happened every time I shadow in the ER. It is very common to ask the patient to return to the clinic for follow-up.

Click to expand... EVERY patient gets followup - if you don't, there can be a case for abandonment. If that followup is back in the ED, or a clinic the EM doc works in, there's no conflict.
