I already have 14 college credits from previous college. I was thinking that if I went to school every semester (including summer) full time I could graduate in 2.5 years. Is this a realistic plan? I would like to apply to dental school by may 2015.

Only works if you're loading yourself with 18+ hours every semester, and granted that you won't have conflicting schedules between classes.

My girlfriend graduated from Georgia Tech with an IE degree in 3 years, but she took a study abroad for a summer semester..

It's not easy, but it's not impossible.. and graduating in 2.5 years shows nothing, if you can't maintain a good GPA.

Goodluck.

Thank you! I just happy to see that someone has done it.

My brother graduated from a top-tier school in 2.5 years without doing any summer classes and maintained a 3.8-3.9 GPA, so it is possible.

He disliked his university and just wanted to get out of there ASAP. He did spend basically all his time in the library, though, to maintain that GPA with the credit loads he was taking.

Is it doable - yes. From someone who took 20 (17science) credits a semester - you will not have a life outside of studying - be prepared for that. I worked part-time so my grades took a tiny hit - plan to do nothing but school & you can do it if you are excellent with time management & self-discipline.

I graduated in 3 years, it's not terribly difficult if you treat school like a job and aren't just using it as a socially acceptable way to party for 4 tears.
