I don't know if anyone out there had the same situation like this, if you know the answer, please let me know.

I am at home now, but everything under my name is mailed to my address at school. Before I left school about 2 months ago, I sent a mail forward request in post office, hoping they would forward my mails to my home. However, the post office didn't start to forward my mails until last week. My roommate was forwarding all my mails for 2 months. But now, my roommate left for home too, and before she left, she requested to hold her mail. Now I am worried that the post office will stop forwarding my mails and hold them.

I had the same thing happen to me last year, it sucked

I think your forward request lasts for like 3 months. You should contact all the schools and update it, that might give you a chance to ask them how your app is without annoying them too much!

This actually happened to me this cycle. I applied in June and moved to a new condo in late July. I put in a forwarding notice in early July but by the middle of the first week of August I knew the forwarding notice was not working because we had not gotten any mail. I also had noticed about the last week of July that one of my schools had changed my AADSAS status to "Invited for Interview". I had not gotten the packet yet by the end of the first week of August, so I called the post office and I called the school. The school had my new address and thought they had sent my packet to the correct address, but could not be sure. Our postal worker was on vacation, so I pretty much called back every day until I got a hold of her. She basically had to go look through a bunch of different "black holes" where the packet could be, but understood that it was important so she was willing to do it. Eventually she found the packet, which had a sticker that said "Moved, Left no Address" on it to send back to the school. Luckily I got to it before that happened. My suggestion would be to call your schools and kindly inform them of your change in permanent address. Also ask them if they know if anything was sent to you recently that may be on hold at the post office. You should then call the post office, persistently until someone can look through your held mail or if they did not hold it, look through mail to be sent back. I know it is a long process, but it could be worth it if an interview invite is sitting in a pile somewhere. There probably is an easier way to do all this, but I was kind of freaking out at the time because I knew I needed to fill out the supplementary app as soon as possible. Good luck!
