Hello everyone,
So I've been reading on SDN about how some people are eager to apply very early in the cycle - sometimes in the first week of June! It seems like it's an encouraged practice.
I'm a little confused about this practice. Isn't the secondary the "rate-limiting step" in this situation? Say if person A were to submit primaries in the first week of June, gets their secondaries in the first week of July, and submits their secondaries in the first week of August vs. person B who submits primaries in the middle of June, gets their secondaries in the middle of July, and submits their secondaries immediately (also in the middle of July).
Wouldn't person B in that case beat person A in the cycle? What's the main benefit of submitting primaries in the first week of June vs. later in the cycle if the person who submits their primaries later ends up submitting their secondaries earlier?
Thank you!
