Hi all,

This is the same old question asked around here. I am applying to Duke-NUS, and possibly U of Sydney.

GPA: 4.6 / 5.0 (~3.6 / 4.0 if I converted right), honours in biological sciences

MCAT: 35S (10PS/10VR/15BS)

Research: 2 years on/off research in proteomics, cancer. Used alot of mass spectrometry, some molecular assays. Designed my own honors thesis project.

EC: Fencing, photography, calligraphy, symphony. Volunteered to observe at a local hospital: 2 wks Gastro-entero, 2wks general surgery, 1wk ER.

Note: have interviewed at Duke-NUS. Waiting for acceptance/rejection now.

I'd like a no BS assessment of my chances, and how to improve my stats should I be rejected.

Thank you in advance! 😀

To get information/advice about Duke-National University of Singapore Graduate Medical School you would be better off posting in the International Medical forum: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=85

To improve your stats, take more undergrad classes to raise your GPA and retake the MCAT for a higher score (see MCAT subforum for advice).
