A Question for Current UCSF students

Hey guys,

I just wanted to know what you guys thought about housing at Mission Bay. If you live(d) there or know someone who lived there, how was your or their experience living there? Was it worth the extra money to live there? Was commute a big headache?

I'm thinking about living there my freshmen yr and then live in an apt starting second year. Kind of like college: live in the "dorm" first year and then in an apt thereafter.

I would love to hear your thoughts/advice on finding a good housing in SF.

DREDAY posted a reply on this subject but search is disabled now. PM him if you need more info. IMO, it's more convenient to be close to school. But you get to stay in new apartments at Mission Bay. Apartments around school are pretty old and quite expensive too. From time to time, some do wish to be closer to school. I think it takes about 30mins. If you want a place near school, check out craigslist.org. Good Luck.
