A retake?

Hey guys,

I just took my test and got...
Bio: 18
Orgo: 24
Chem: 21
RC: 17
QR: 21
PAT: 21
Science: 20
Academic: 20

Now, my extracurricular sucks, but my GPA (at a pretty good school) is pretty high (above 3.8).
Should I retake the test??? 😕
the thing is i'm afraid i'll get a lower score and look bad
AND i just want to get the DAT done with. (no more time to study either)

Yeah you are fine. Just sit back, get your LOEs and you are good, though I would try to do some volunteering from now till June. Wish I had your GPA...

I agree with the previous posts. You should be good to go with a 20AA and a 20TS. A couple of those (RC and Bio) are on the edge but with a GPA like that and an above average DAT you should be fine! 😎

no need for a retake ... you are in great shape with those marks and your GPA

agreed with everyone else, early application and you should be alright. i do definitely recommend doing some volunteering if possible. if you're applying for fall 2010 you got some time to get some volunteering done. go for shadowing first though i would say.

good luck rest of the way. keep us posted. what did you use to study? destroyer, kaplan, cliffs?

i studied kaplan for about a week right before the test. (that's basically all the studying i did for the test)

You should go to your local American Red Cross and volunteer for 20 hours a week. And learn to read

some people on this forum need to be kicked off their high horses and brought back to reality. if someone posts their scores have some freakin consideration and respect. some people just have a huge stick up their a**.
