So if i have taken the prerequisite classes can i apply for Dental School immediately (assuming DAT has already been taken)? or is it wiser to get a degree...im trying to find out what the scenario for these kinds of things is!! thanks a bunch everyone

It's not required that you earn a degree but some schools require at least 90 hours before you apply. Those who have a degree are at a BIG advantage when compared to applicants without a degree. You can still apply without a degree but it'll be harder to get in. :luck:

having been done with upperlevel courses makes DAT alot easier

most (1st time) applicants apply when they have acquired 90+ credits and will be graduating within a school year. so if you just finished your junior year, you're like most ppl applying.
