Do you think that the people who post questions on this forum, such as "What food should I eat during MCAT breaks?" or "How should I lose weight so I can get into medical school?" or "I got a B in some irrelevant class freshman year, should I be worried about getting rejected?" deserve to be denied access from medical school?

I feel that people who need help determining what snack they should eat during the MCAT lack decision skills. Would you want your surgeon getting preoccupied with what color scrubs he should wear before your liver transplant?

Compassion, Empathy, and an ability to be non-judgmental. Those are three top qualities physicians need. Your post displays none of these. Ergo, you should be automatically denied access to medical school.

BTW: I know the OP is probably a troll, but what the hell? It's 8:30am, even trolls need breakfast.

but if you don't feed them, we don't have to deal with the droppings later.

Dropping weight is a serious consideration if you plan on applying to places like Lerner/Cleveland Clinic. 😕

Ok, I know the CEO of CCF is on the warpath to fight obesity, but it is not true that you have to lose weight to apply to CCLCM.

No.

I feel that people who make pointless threads on SDN about other people's pointless threads being so pointless lack enough real problems to worry about. And at this hospital, the surgeons don't wear scrubs at all. They wear whites.

I agree.

There was one girl at my school's pre-med office who was actually crying b/c she got a B in one class in her senior year, marring a perfect 4.0 record. She was concerned that some med school would rescind their offer of admission because of that. I can't imagine how she would react if her patient didn't respond to medication...
