A Stupid Question but Please Help
Started by Princepanni
fold it into a crane. it will show your manual dexterity skills.
Lol Im kinda OCD and I always think about things like that 😛 dont worry, people dont even bother
I would probably insert the papers in a big yellow envelope so I dont have to fold it
I have some stupid questions too but nobody answered me... if you guys dont mind, I prefer not to start a new thread for this :$
"
I got accepted in dental school, do you think I should whiten my teeth before my first semester? It may sound stupid lol but my teeth are not yellow and not shining white either...
It has nothing to do with OP post but do all dentists eventually wear glasses? Because I dont wear glasses, my eyes are fine... But I think that looking at small places all day can hurt the eyes... Am I going to wear glasses or do many dentists not wear glasses at all?"

I am serious to ask it....I am OCD lol
If you are also serious about the question, I will say yes I would make my teeth as perfect as I can (or if I can).

lulz.
honestly, though. i don't think you should worry about that. worry about content. adcoms have much more pressing concerns than whether you folded your papers hamburger or hotdog.

Damn. You just reminded me I forgot to put origami including crane folding into manual dexterity before submitting. I thought my special skills were going to finally pay off lol.

I remember U asked this question on one of the threads but thought you were kidding (sorry). I don't think you should worry about whitening teeth. It's not the natural color of teeth anyways but if it makes you comfortable & confident then go ahead. Yes, some people are gonna be hardcore into whitening their teeth every week...just don't worry about fitting in with them. Like I said it's not like you are gonna make a bad impression with the faculty just because you don't have shade a1 color teeth. I've seen people in dental with braces & nobody really cares so don't worry about it.
If your eye exam didn't indicate you need glasses then don't worry about it. looking at teeth/oral cavity isn't gonna drastically deteriorate your eyesight. If you start having trouble with your eyesight then...get an eye exam & get glasses lol
Most importantly don't worry about what other people think...do what makes you comfortable/confident

If you got accepted into dental school, I'm assuming the adcoms saw what your natural teeth looked like and didn't care. I honestly couldn't tell you how white my dentist's teeth are. As long as your teeth aren't extremely yellow, I don't think it will matter to your future patients. And some of the dentists I've shadowed had goggles/glasses with magnifiers.Lol Im kinda OCD and I always think about things like that 😛 dont worry, people dont even bother

With a serious answer to the OP's question...
It is most professional to print the supplemental application on nice, white paper (think: resume paper) and fold in thirds to fit in a business envelope.
The question sounds ridiculous, but the little things can make a difference (although the person opening your application is probably not the one reviewing it).

Folding in thirds is a good answer. I've never received anything "official" that wasn't folded that way. OP you if you just pull out a bill or other official papers, you can just imitate the way it was folded.
