Welcome to the forums.

Your shadowing is a little light. We prefer 50 hours (not much more than this). Your non-clinical volunteering doesn't have many service orientation activities (food distribution, shelter volunteer, job/tax preparation, legal support, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation). Crisis text line doesn't move the needle for me since it's not in-person.

I don't know what you did with research to know whether it was smart to exclude them. I have a suspicion that you could have included them, even if your activities were more supportive.

Thanks tons! I excluded the labs because minor role & uninterested in the projects, had no pubs, and other activities were more pivotal to me.

Given my non-clinical volunteering lacks service orientation, do you have advice as to what schools I should aim for? Should I try to compensate for this in my secondary essays, or even pursue volunteering now over the summer?

Hard to say, but you might as well get started now and continue over the year/s until you matriculate.

Some schools may screen you out and not send you a secondary (or maybe they would because they like money). Just make it work and be authentic.
