I got verified yesterday, and noticed that they changed one of my AP courses for a premed prerec and gave me 0 credit hours. I already received all of my secondaires (that I've prewritten), and now I'm so frustrated since it will take at least a week or two for the academic change request to be done, which is much more than the 2 week turnaround time (and for schools that want quick submissions like UMich), especially since I'm already done with them.
What do I do? will I mess up my cycle. Should I just submit the secondaries?

Quietly submit your academic change request and go about your business of writing secondaries.I got verified yesterday, and noticed that they changed one of my AP courses for a premed prerec and gave me 0 credit hours. What do I do? I'm so upset, since this was just negligence on their part, and will mess up my cycle. Should I just submit the secondaries?
Be calm and professional in your communications with AMCAS.

Should I submit my secondaries before finding out about the change request? Or should I wait? Since I already have them written, I want to just submit.Quietly submit your academic change request and go about your business of writing secondaries.

Will do with the professionalism when talking to them, I was just a bit frustrated this morning.
Go ahead and submit the ones you have ready, proofread carefully

Thank you. What should I do about the error (on my end) of mistyping the course number? Should I email adcoms/list it in the application under additional information?Go ahead and submit the ones you have ready, proofread carefully
Please go read pages 68, 69, and 70 of the AMCAS guide which lines out exactly what they will and won't correct on your application.Thank you. What should I do about the error (on my end) of mistyping the course number? Should I email adcoms/list it in the application under additional information?
A course number is not one of the things they will change but it is not worth writing all the schools about.
This is such a small error and one that is not going to get looked at by the schools at this point. They accept that AMCAS verified your application and AMCAS can very easily correct their errors and update your electronic application such that the schools won't ever notice AMCAS's mistake.
Carry on as planned and don't worry about this hiccup.

Thank you both so much! Definetly relieved a lot of my stress 🙂. Do you also recommend just submitting my secondaries, and submitting an academic change request for the credit hours for the one course? Will AMCAS automatically update this on the secondaries I've submitted? This is such a small error and one that is not going to get looked at by the schools at this point. Also, would it be worth mentioning the course number error to the schools (I know amcas can't change this - totally my fault)

Thank you so much! Will AMCAS automatically update the schools if they approve my academic change request post-secondary submission? I'm planning to submit around 10 schools by tomorrow. Please go read pages 68, 69, and 70 of the AMCAS guide which lines out exactly what they will and won't correct on your application.
