Hello all i am new to this field. I just earned my Masters in Biomedical Science and i am interested in possibly doing AA.

I noticed that these schools require at least 8 hours of anesthetic exposure. So i been looking around on how i can possibly get these hours, and the biggest misconception is that i need to shadow an anesthesiologist?

Can anyone share how they obtained their hours? What am i seeking exactly? Do i need to shadow officially like in OR's and hospitals? or do i need to shadow an anesthesiologist or AA, or is CRNA fine? What about general surgeons?
