Hey everyone...

I start tomorrow! I'm not sure whether to be excited or nervous. I'm covered either way 😛 IUSD is a heavily PBL-leaning curriculum, which is what I understand these first couple months will be focused primarily on adjusting to...but I'll be back to let everyone know how it's going. Any questions to ask or advice to offer, now's the time! 😀

A new second year by the name of "steiner19er" at IUSD used to post around here. Although he hasn't posted in months, but I'm sure he still lurks around.

If you have any questions about your school, try to summon him. Good luck tomorrow! It'll be a blast!

Woo!

First day went great...weird little factoid: From my class of 100, 4 of us came from my little Podunk county (total population 15,000 out of 6,000,000 state total). Talk about your statistical deviations.

The breadth of resources we have available to us at IUSD (and at most good schools, I expect) is really astonishing. It helps that we share a complex with the medical center/hospital and an independent children's hospital, but I'm really looking forward to the next four years. Now if only I could shake the lingering dread of becoming a freshman again for the THIRD time... 🙄

Congrats Bill (and Gavin too), and good luck!

Just remember, in all the pathology slides, everything looks pink. 😀
