Hey all. I was just wondering how DO schools calculated MCAT scores with ppl who took it more than once. Do they use your best scores from each section or just average scores. if this depends on the school, does anyone know how MSUcom does it?

BUMPPPP

depends on the school. Of the two schools I applied to, once combined the best sections to give me the highest possible score, the other school took it straight up.

That is:

OUCOM = combined
CCOM = straight up

When you say combined the best sections what exactly do you mean?

I really want to know how OSU does theirs. I have a large gap between my scores so it could make a huge difference for me. Does anyone know?

For example on the last MCAT I scored a 9PS 9VR and 8BS. I usually get a 10BS and was wondering that if i took the Augutst MCAT and only studied BS and got a 7PS 7VR and 10BS would schools look at my scores as being 9PS 9VR and 10BS or as my highest overall score?
