AACOM Huh?

Does anyone know how to decode the "new," "revised" etc status section of when your primary is ACTUALLY mailed out? Some of my schools have a one month span between dates.

New: You are a first time applicant to the designated school

Revised: The school has received the AACOMAS file and is in the process of making your file (i think).

AACOMAS website will not tell you if a school has reviewed your file or not. Nor will it inform you if a school mailed a secondary, granted interview, rejection, or acceptence.

You are going to have to call each school individually to make sure your file is complete. Call them to make sure your secondaries are complete, but do not call the schools everyday. If the office recognizes your voice then you know you have called them too much, I know from experience.

All of mine still say new and the mailing date which was months ago. I am done with the secondaries and have interviewed or withdrawn almost everywhere, but they still say new. So, to answer your question....I have no idea. If there is a mailing date, then they were sent out and that is all you need to worry about. 😀

DoctorMom, I think yours says new on all of them because you have not had to send new grades at the end of each semester. Everytime you send them a new transcript with new class grades they will then forward a new sent of your "revised" application to the schools you applied to. Mine says revised like 2 times because I applied early and took summer 1 and summer 2.

LOL! Oh, okay. Thanks! I hadn't even looked at it in months until the other day when I was checking out Touro-NY. I noticed then that it still said new. Well, good luck!😀

Just wondering.

I ace this semester and wondering if I should send a new transcript that includes my new grades?
My adcom is verified 10 days ago and I already received some secondaries.
