AACOMAS Application Question

Hi everyone. Sorry to ask a procedural question, but I've been unable to find this information on the AACOM website. I've heard conflicting things as far as when I can start inputting information to the application for the '16-'17 application cycle. I thought the application wasn't open until May but someone told me that I can start inputting info now? Also, I'm not sure when to send transcripts. I have two from technical colleges for various certifications (CNA, EMT, AEMT, ect) that need to be sent and one from my undergrad. The undergrad one I know I need to wait to send until it is officially up to date with grades from this semester, but can I send the others now?

Hey guys, so sorry for hijacking the thread. I'm asking this for a fellow friend. Is it the same rules as AMCAS when it comes to submitting your application for verification before receiving your MCAT score? e.g. you apply to a throw away school and get your app verified, once u get your score, you send it to AACOMAS and once they receive you send it out to desired schools and you're NOT considered a re-app on the other schools, only for the throw away one right?? Thanks!! again, soooo sorry for hijacking the thread.

The new application opens in May (I forget specific date but you will find out on the website). You have a month or if not more to enter all your coursework and send in transcript(s) and to verify them. If you worried about the transcript, please do it once the new cycle opens since you will need to print your transcript attachments. So do worry about it until May. Make sure you link your MCAT score to AACOMAS since it is very confusing this year.

Some key dates to keep in mind for upcoming '16-'17 cycle:

• April 30 - Last day applicants had access to the 2015 (or any prior year) application.
• May 5 - New AACOMAS application launched at 1:00pm ET.
• June 15 - Schools began receiving and processing applications.
