Hi all. I feel that I am very far behind everyone. I will be submitting my AACOMAS application the end of this week. My transcripts have been there for a while. Am I really late in the process, or am I still OK? I know a lot of people on SDN have gotten COMP interviews, and a few others, but none are schools I am applying to except KCOM. Anyway, just want some advice or opinions on whether i'll still be "early" or considered Late compared to lots of applicants by the time my AACOMAS is processed, secondaries in, etc... which i'm guessing will be in Early September if the processing doesn't take too long.
I really appreciate any response, except rude ones of course 🙂
THANKS!!!

i say turn it in asap. you are not late. maybe a little behind schedule...but still. its better to apply late than not to apply. i am sure you may have a slightly harder time...but its worth it.

I think you shouldn't worry about what you can't change. You are not cutting any deadlines short and you would be better off investing your energy in what you can do now rather then what you haven't done. That is my universal advice; take it for what it's worth.

I'd say not to be concerned too much. Most schools have rolling admissions cycles, so they interview people all throughout the cycle You should still submit as soon as possible, because you're going to have to deal with AACOMAS, which is a hassle sometimes.

You're fine, especially because your transcripts are already there. That usually takes a long time. Good luck!! :luck:

Many, many people have not applied yet... think about all of the August MCAT takers as well who many have not even started their applications.

Don't worry about it 👍

This is sort of true. I'm an August taker, but went ahead and took the chance that I'll do OK and submitted my apps. Hopefully my money won't be wasted after August 14. 😀

Interviews really don't even start until Sept-Oct anyways, so you have time.

Thanks to you all for helpful comments 🙂 and good luck to everyone else as well, whether your apps are in already or not!
