AACOMAS/DO LoR System

Hi SDN crowd,

Im excited to be applying to DO school this cycle! I have a question regarding the way AACOMAS handles evaluations/LoRs.

Since AACOMAS sends all your uploaded evaluations to every school you're applying to (you can't select which letters go to which schools like on AMCAS), but many DO schools have different letter requirements, how does this work?

Example: one school only wants 2 letters, but another wants 3. Either both get 3 or both get 2, which seems like it would cause issues.

Can someone please clarify this for me?

I sent all 4 to all of the schools. No issues at all

The schools pick out the letters they need.
I'm pretty sure they'll read through all of them unless you've sent in like 20.

Fairly sure you are limited to six through AACOMAS

You can send additional ones directly to programs. Although most also have a limit.

Is there any way to delete a rec letter from the AACOMAS application? I have not submitted my application, however, I sent the rec letters through Interfolio. It wont let me delete rec letters anymore. Is there any way around that?
