aacomas entries for presentations and publications

I am unsure where to add information for posters and abstracts. They're clearly not an award, but I don't want them buried in with the information about my research. This may have been answered elsewhere, I apologize if this is constantly asked

Also, I have submitted a manuscript and it is currently under review. Is this worth mentioning and where would I put it?

I called them up (AACOMAS) and they told me to put it under extracurricular,volunteer,etc section.

i would include that article under review. Just state the truth that is under review. ie NOT published

I just searched this thread with the same questions. Can I update my AACOMAS application with my publication post-submission. It currently says, "Processing." I wasn't sure if that would start the process over again.

Yes you can, from what I hear it does not delay the verification process. I entered every poster or publication with a separate entry under the extracurricular section.
