I went to a graduate school who's system of grading is Honors (H), High Pass (HP), Pass (P), and Fail (F).

My school recognizes the conversion into the traditional grading system as follows: H=A, HP=A-, P=B, and F=F

In my AMCAS application they recognize the conversion my school uses.

My question is will AACOMAS recognize it as well? 😕

AACOMAS says
Pass/Fail: courses in which you were graded on a Pass/Fail system, including Credit/No Credit, Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory, and High Pass/Pass/Fail, grading systems. The grade of "P" should be listed for Pass and "N" for Non-pass or Fail in the AACOMAS grade column. However, if the grade of FAIL is either included in the GPA calculations or considered to be equivalent to the letter grade of Fail at your institution, the letter grade of "F" should be listed in the AACOMAS Grade column and included in your GPA calculations.

While it recognizes "High Pass/Pass/Fail" as simply Pass/Fail, it makes no mention of "Honors/High Pass/Pass/Fail"

my question is how AACOMAS will know when you take only one course in a school and you don't mention to it . do you think they check all the usa schools behind u??
what about foreign schools outside USA

AACOMAS says:
Enter all course work. Every course taken must be listed; even those courses not part of a program and not toward a degree. Failure to list every course taken could result in a violation of your application agreement, and your designated colleges being notified. Courses repeated for academic improvement or grade change must be listed each time taken.

While they probably will not do a thorough invesitigation to make sure you listed all schools you've attended, it's not worth the risk of violating the application agreement which could forfeit your acceptance(s).

Does anyone have any thoughts on my original post???
