1. Character limits stink.
2. The look up college thing isn't working for me...any ideas how to troubleshoot?
3. Is there anywhere to list EC's that are not volunteer experiences or employments???????

i think the EC activities will come more into play w/ the secondaries....there is not place to list them anywhere -- which is just stupid...i ran out room so had to stick w/ volunteer positions...

same here, but i have some exceptional ec's, do you think it's a huge risk not listing them on the primary?

another question----> what is the AACOMAS grade?? is that different from my institution's grade?

Pretty much everyone will get a secondary from all the schools you apply to. 🙂 The only time you may NOT get a secondary is if you don't meet the minimum GPA and MCAT requirement or course requirements, otherwise, you will be able to elaborate on their secondary, so if you can't go into the details of it, just mention it, and in the secondary you can talk more about it.

For EC activities and volunteer I listed the major ones, like ER, PT volunteer work, some file research, and for pure EC activities like sports, I listed the one w/ the most time committment which was soccer which I played for 4 years...but i left out baseball intramural sports, guitar player..etc -- i'll include those smaller ones in my secondaries.

What about those who submit applications and yet to take the MCAT? Do schools send out secondaries even if they don't have the MCAT score? or do they wait until they see the MCAT score? I'm considering to apply this June but I have never taken the MCAT yet. I'm taking it for the first time this August. I look forward to this risky gamble this year. 😱

Yes, they'll go ahead and send you secondaries even without the MCAT. The only thing is that you won't have a "complete file" to be reviewed until AFTER the August MCAT scores are received. So even if you send in the lor's and the secondaries, they won't review your application until after receiving the August MCAT scores.
