AACOMAS Processing?

Does AACOMAS give any indication that they're processing your application? When I click on "Mailing Designations", all of the schools say "pending". Under transcripts it says "Received OR Not Required"...

Will they notify me when they're processing/verifying my app?

They won't notify you (at least I didn't get one), but on their status check page (Mailing Designations) they will tell you when they sent it. I have gotten secondaries so I know that they did send them out.

Yeah, this AACOMAS system seems a little shady to me. I definitely sent my transcripts a long time ago and it says not received...I know AMCAS received them awhile ago, so I wonder what the problem is...plus my status is the same as yours, just says "pending"...

I don't know about processing times, but if you want to check on your transcripts, I suggest e-mail. They got back to me within hours after I tried and tried to call and just got their message service, and this was during normal office hours.

I've called them 4 times and only got their messaging service once. The rest of the time I got a hold of a live person. ornis4, call them to verify that they've received your transcripts. I called them monday and within a few minutes they updated the page for me.

Umm, you click on the date next to the little tab that says "Tanscripts" on it. Under summary it has this:

Mailing Designations
Latest Update 07/07/04
Transcripts
Latest Update 06/15/04 <---------click here
MCAT Scores View
E-Profile View
Print Application View
Print Courses View
